Job Description

Job Responsibility
  • Follow and execute each step of the CS process from when order is received through to final shipping to ensure that all orders are completed within specification and delivered on time and in full
  • Preparation of relevant documentation and various regular weekly and daily reports
  • Liaise with shipping on a regular basis to ensure correct transport is booked and that all relevant shipping documentation is prepared and sent to the customer in a timely manner
  • Liaise (and negotiate) with planning, production and QA on a regular basis to ensure orders will be produced to the required specification on time and in full
  • Liaise with purchasing to ensure that all secondary items required for the production of the order will be available ahead of when production is due to start
  • Liaise with NPI when required for new product introductions and changes to existing product specifications
  • Regular communication with the direct sales team and/or customer to keep them updated on the status of their order production and shipping consignments
  • Take ownership of any customer complaints or queries and proactively follow through to ensure that the customer receives a timely response and resolution that is to their satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain a professional and strong working relationship with external and internal customers and colleagues
  • Maintain relevant documentation of customer transactions and interactions


Job Requirements
  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)
  • Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent IT skills specifically in Excel and SAP. CRM is an added advantage.
  • Well organized and focused with the ability to be able to cope with multiple projects and deadlines
  • Friendly, polite and outgoing in nature but also reliable and flexible with the ability to handle a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment
  • Sensitive and tactful when dealing with customers both internal and external


  • Customer relation: 5 years (Required)
  • Manufacturing: 5 years (Preferred)
