Job ResponsibilityROLE SUMMARY:
As the Cross Border Transportation Manager at IFB Freightbridge (M) Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible to spearhead both Northern and Southern product developments (Malaysia-Thailand & Malaysia-Singapore) and positively contribute to expanding business with main responsibilities summarised as follows: -
Main Responsibilities
o To develop LTL consolidation and FTL clientele between Northern and Southern
o To navigate many uncharted grounds, build processes and teams from ground up
o To work closely with internal team, transporter, and clients for the cross border developments
o Accountable for end-to-end management of the cross border development
o To implement recommendations for improved efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings
o Pro-actively engage in all issues that will impact service and follow through to completion
o To support business developments process and customer visits as necessary to achieve growth targets
o Accountable for cost-efficient network expansion and operations work flow as per business directions and compliant to local authority policies
o To develop KPI metrics and obtain detailed visibility of operational performance
o To update on CRM on a timely manner
o Able to work independently as well as to participate in ad-hoc tasks as and when required by the Management
Requirements:
o Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, preferably major in Business Management, Marketing, Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics
o Minimum 5 years of experience in cross border logistics
o Well verse in both end custom formalities
o Operational and commercial excellence mindset
o Strong industry knowledge, market trend and logistics requirements
o Results oriented with the drive to grow an international freight forwarding business
o Self-starter and hands-on problem solver
o Excellent communicator with the ability to interact and deal with different people of diverse cultures
o Good computer proficiency in MS Office
o Those who can start immediately will be an added advantage
