Job ResponsibilityJob Description:
- Work closely with management, contract department and all other divisions to establish and control project budget, claims manpower mobilisation plan in order to complete the work on time and maintain highest quality.
- Facilitate good communication, feedback and motivation among construction team.
- Lead a working team to establish and control all construction issues and ensuring all technical and engineering aspects of the building project meet customers' and statutory requirements.
- Responsible for overall construction site planning, construction activities, management, operation, all relevant report, site meeting and completion of work on time and within budget.
- Ensure the smooth progress and efficiency of the construction works by adhering to quality guidance, safety regulations on the site and contractual obligations.
- Responsible to resolve any technical issues.
- To carry out various inspections and tests at project site from time to time.
- To coordinate with purchasing department in acquisition of machinery and materials required for project use.
- To coordinate any quality issues and problems at the project site and carry out any rectifications work, if any.
- To optimize the usage of all site machinery and tools.
- To ensure hand tools and equipment are handle properly and well maintained.
- Other ad-hoc task as per instructed by superior.
Requirement:
- A least a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction or its equivalent.
- Required skill(s): MS Office, AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
- At least 1 year of working experience in construction field.
- Knowledge in IBS or / any earlier involvement in IBS is preferred.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Requires language(s): English, Malay, and Mandarin.
- Must possess own transport.
- Able to work overtime and willing to travel outstation (site based).
- Work location: Penang (Simpang Ampat), Kedah (Sungai Petani).
