Job ResponsibilityJob Duties:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual ?dishes and foods
- Prepare and cook special meals for clients as ?instructed by Chef
- Help supervise kitchen helpers and apprentices
- Oversee subordinate personnel in preparation, ?cooking and handling of food
- May plan menus, determine size of food portions, ?estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Follow the resorts policies and procedures and adhere to the grooming policies
- Other duties as required
Required Experience:
- Willingness to learn new skills, great attention to detail
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Inter-provincial Red Seal or ?equivalent education/ ?experience an asset
- Food Safe Certification
- 1-2 years in high volume kitchen ?environment
- Self-motivated, positive team player
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
