Job Responsibility- Knowledge of the individual menu items including basic ingredients, methods of preparation, and presentation style.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
- Gain basic knowledge of all outlets in hotel.
- Responsible for mise en place
- Taste and examine food prepared for freshness and required quality.
- Set up section as required by Section Head
- Be responsible for minimising food wastage.
- Attend and comprehend all information discussed at the briefing sessions.
- Personal appearance is an important requirement. Grooming for food & beverage attendants should be fastidious. The goal is to present a healthy, professional and natural appearance in both uniform and personal appearance.
- Be pro-actively involved in the hotel's operation keeping up-to-date with events within the hotel.
- Maintain cleanliness of all utensils and equipment in their assigned section.
- Cleans and sanitizes work areas including refrigerators, walk-in coolers, working counters, and portable food equipment and have the ability to report any defect on equipment being used.
