Job ResponsibilityTask and Responsibilities
? Design, Plan, Developing and implementing sourcing/ purchasing strategies.
? Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
? Assist commercial/sales Department on contract related issues.
? Resolves issues with contracts and commercial operations.
? Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
? Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
? Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
? Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
? Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
? Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
? Identify and pre-qualify new potential vendors.
? Review, approve, and issue Purchase Orders.
? Understand and keeping up with price trends of key material / good, and changes in construction and engineering business.
? Identify opportunities for cost savings.
? Compile data from variety of sources for analysing and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and monitoring of purchasing processes.
? Any other tasks as assigned by superior from time to time.
Requirements
Education:
? Tertiary educated, professional certificate, diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistic or Business administrative.
Working Experience:
? Minimum 5 years working experience of similar capacity with construction & engineering company is preferred.
? Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
Technical & Professional Knowledge:
? A knack for negation and networking.
? Write and speak fluent English, able to read up technical / products literature.
? Positive attitude, self-motivated, willing to go extra miles for best results.
? Good interpersonal, appreciate team work.
? Good analytical skill, and organised in work.
? Solid judgement along with decision making skills.
? Strong leadership capabilities
? Write and read Chinese will be added advantages.
