Job ResponsibilityThe Job:
1. Perform forensic analysis on incident response engagements in cloud environments (preferably AWS).
2. Prevent, identify, and mitigate the cloud security threats.
3. Perform threat modeling and develop use cases for security monitoring and proactive preventative methods.
4. Investigate and respond to escalated cyber incidents and act immediately whenever needed.
5. Ensure adequate documentation of cybersecurity incidents.
6. Perform analysis on technical assessments looking for compromise or security misconfigurations in AWS.
7. Produce high-quality written and verbal reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings.
The Person:
1. Possesses a Bachelor's Degree/Master's in Cyber Security or equivalent.
2. Possesses AWS Certified in:-
a. Security- Specialty;
b. Solution Architect- Associate/Professional;
c. SysOps administrator- Associate; or
d. DevOps Engineer- Professional.
3. At least 1 year of work experience as a Cloud Security Engineer / DevOps Engineer / SysOps Engineer.
4. Understanding of AWS Top 10, OWASP Top 10 and familiar with common security libraries and applications.
5. Experience in operating on cloud environments (preferably AWS) and knowledge in AWS incident response methodologies.
6. Experience supporting or managing incident response investigations, investigating targeted threats such as the Advanced Persistent Threat, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists.
7. Strong understanding of targeted attacks and able to create customized tactical and strategic remediation plans.
8. A background using a variety of forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations to determine the extent and scope of compromise.
9. Experience analyzing system security (e.g., engagement testing, web application security testing, vulnerability scanning, threat modeling).
10. Experience in BugBounty program or having OSCP/Security+ certification will be an added advantage.
11. Good command in English (verbal & written).
