Job ResponsibilityTo be responsible for the research and development processes and day-to-day operations of the laboratory. Ensuring good laboratory practices are implemented, documented, and sustained as well as involved in product improvement.
Responsibilities:
1. Involve in formulation enhancement, new material development, or new technology for quality improvement or sustainable product initiative.
2. Propose and execute studies and projects related to formulation efficiency and improvement.
3. Perform laboratory research by testing and analyzing new or present chemicals in the lab.
4. To ensure proper SOP and documentation related to projects executed. Conduct mechanical testing on glove rubber film, for example, ASTM, EN, ISO standards, etc.
5. Offer technical support on glove process, glove analysis, chemicals quality troubleshooting, and customer inquiries.
6. Collaborate with engineers and chemists to create product designs, raw material analysis, quality troubleshooting, and engineering design.
Qualifications:
1. Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Polymer Engineering, Polymer Technology,
2. Polymer Science, Analytical Chemistry, or other relevant fields.
3. Familiar with a lab-analytical instrument such as Zeta Potential, Particle Size, FTIR, physical properties, etc.
4. Interested to perform R&D work in the lab and on-site.
5. Proficient in verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay.
6. Ability to work and communicate well with others.
7. Results-oriented, strong follow-up skills, good negotiation skills, strong analytical skills, and passion for research.
8. Meticulous, punctual, self-motivated, pleasant personality, hardworking, and able to work independently.
9. Able to do multitask
10. Possess own vehicle and willing to travel interstate
