Job ResponsibilityResponsibilities :-
Responsible for the supervision of construction of the project.
Provide leadership and direction to the Construction Supervision Team which consists of Engineers and Inspectors of Works.
Be accountable for all technical decisions made by the Consultants Construction Supervision Team
Supervise Contractor's performance on the site and to confirm that the works are being executed in accordance with the programme, the specifications and to the desired quality. Monitor Quality of Works and arrange for appropriate rectification works by the Contractor.
Closely keep watch on safety and environmental aspects and see that no unsafe practices are adopted and that there is minimum adverse effect on the environment.
Guide the Contractor to minimise inconvenience to the public during construction.
Attend the monthly measurements of works carried out by the Quantity Surveyor and Contractor.
Respond to RFWI, RFI, shop drawings, material submission and other submissions by the Contractor.
Check and sign-off all construction records prepared by COW.
Attend all Technical, CCM, Progress Meeting and other meetings and discussion required by the Client.
Involved in the preparation of IAF, CAI and check submission of commercial submission by the Contractor and QS.
Monitor the Contractor's compliance to Health and Security Procedure and provide comment and compliance to Logistic Plan.
Form part of the Emergency Response Team.
Issue Non-Conformance Report and comment and approve Corrective Action Report.
Ensure compliance of Consultant's PQP and to Construction Drawings.
Provide weekly reports to the Client
Check through drawings and highlight related issues to the Project Manager or Engineer.
Requirements :-
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years practical experience in supervision of civil and structural construction works.
Minimum 5 years experiences in Prefabricated Vertical Drain PDV
