Job Responsibility

• Monitor the daily production.
• Ensure production of good quality products.
• Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked products.
• Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures.
• Check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and product.
• Ensuring excellent quality of raw and the end products in making sure to meet the standards
• Delegating task for team member throughout the day.
• Supervising and coordinating the production process.
• Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. to make sure all ingredients always be enough for production.
• Assist R&D department create new recipes by using different and special ingredients.
• Ensure compliance with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate record of baking operation to ensure profitability
• Train new recruits on baking techniques and procedures
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in baking.
• Possess related certificate OR Diploma OR Degree in culinary arts.
• Good knowledge of different types of pastry, bread, dessert and decorating.
• Ability and experience in managing, training and leading a team of bakers.
• Able to cope with fast-paced situations.
• Ability to work with a variety of people and in cooperation with co-workers efficiently and effectively.
