Job ResponsibilityAchieve Financial Targets while Building and Protecting Brand Equity
- Develop the P&Ls for the brands in different regions, in conjunction with the global team and GM
- Achieve market share and P&L targets in different regions, flagging where there are risks and establishing mitigation plans while building and protecting brand equity, identity and culture.
- Support the Managers to deliver on targets and review performance on a monthly basis to jointly problem solve on issues and share insights/best practices.
Develop and Execute Brand Go-To-Market Strategy in different regions
- In conjunction with Global Marketing, defines regional Marketing Calendar with priorities and resource allocation per category/products/visualization
- Develop specific products, tools and brand assortment as needed in in different regions and specific distribution channels to support execution plans
- Review/approve final market plans and marketing and media calendars in the Affiliates.
- Ensure consistency of implementation and correct positioning across region with regard to pricing, product assortment, marketing calendar and media strategy.
- Ensure implementation of top door strategy in relevant markets and strong local execution of marketing programs in different regions
- Ensure an integrated execution across all key functional areas with special attention to major launches whilst concurrently driving basic business.
Ensure Local Relevance, Sharing Regional Insight with the Global Team and Embed Best Practices
- Leverage region resources and knowledge to strengthen affiliate business development and competitive advantage.
- Work in partnership with other brands on joint projects and studies to optimize Brand/corporate performance and gain better market position.
- Act as a steward translating and advocating for market needs with the Global team to ensure local relevancy in terms of brand assortment, marketing calendar and mix, merchandising guidelines, creative lay-outs, media strategy.
- Lead affiliate Brand management in effort to identify opportunities for streamlining operations and leveraging efficiencies across the region.
- Monitor competitive activity and trends in markets, customers, products, suggested retail prices, and channels.
Job Requirements- In-depth market knowledge in different regions with proven ability to influence and positively lead across a matrix environment of increasing complexity
- Proven track record of good leadership and coaching skills
- Persuasive communication style, able to demonstrate strong communication skills to interact with all levels of management Commercial experience in leading brand on a multi-national level is preferred
- Experience in luxury industry and fragrance category is a plus.
