Job ResponsibilityTo supervise and direct contact with the executive and technicians of the region to ensure its
alignment to Department's KPI and maintain all the SCADA equipment's and instrumentation at reservoirs, pump houses and distribution system are functioning and responsible to support and handle all M2M Sims card relevant documents and technical issues.
Job Description:
? To support and handle all M2M Sims card relevant documents and technical
issues.
? To support for 10 regions on telco billing issues.
? To ensure all M2M account payment done within allowable time to avoid any
interruption to all M2M lines.
? Negotiate with telco regarding any call barring, coverage, sim card status
(application & termination)
? To lead and supervise region technicians on daily instrumentation and SCADA
equipment maintenance works.
? Participate in preparation of tender documents for maintenance works and
evaluation of tender submission.
? To monitor and follow up all the Minors Work Order (MWO) and Purchase Order
(BAP)
? Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance work.
? Monitor progress of preventive and corrective maintenance of instruments and
SCADA equipment at reservoirs, pump houses and in the distribution system,
ensuring SCADA equipment and instrumentation are in good working condition.
? To ensure all spare parts are available at all time with acceptable units and
prepare relevant document to purchase new parts.
? Validate trouble-shoot exercise and instruct corrective measures.
? Monitor performance of instrumentation and SCADA equipment, and execute
improvement plan to avoid maintenance delay.
? Keep track of development of new instruments with current SCADA technologies
in the market.
? Prepare relevant reports and documents including technical reports on work done.
? Do the task of updating TAMS & WAMS system including create & close work
order for Preventive Maintenance & Corrective Maintenance.
? Prepare and develop SOP, and enhance efficiency and effectiveness of work
processes.
? Plan and conduct technical training and technology update.
? Implement activities pertaining to compliance of health, safety and quality
procedures.
? Any other tasks as when assigned by the Management / Superior
Job Requirements:
oBachelor of Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Equivalent
oMinimum of two (2) years' experience in Instrumentation and SCADA field, ideally in the field instruments water industry
oKnowledge of process control instruments testing & commissioning, troubleshooting and repairing work in SCADA system and instrumentation
oLiterate in computer software, PLC and Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) programming
oAbility to liaise successfully with all position levels within the groups
oHigh capacity for responsibility and to be able to use own initiative
oAnalytical, creative and possess high integrity
