Job Responsibility Requirements: o Successfully complete minimum of undergraduate degree or similar educational background in Electrical & Electronic Engineering/ equivelant from a recognized University o Preference is given to persons with relevant demonstrated knowledge and experience of similar positions in a Technical Support role eg Base Technician or equivalent in Oil & Gas Industry o Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description: - Have a thorough understanding how to support his/her service Line (SL) equipment, installation, operation, repairs, de-installation and troubleshooting processes and technical documentation. - Manage the quality control, maintenance, and certification schedule of field equipment. - Perform site visits (when needed), TRA and pre-job technical evaluations to assess technical requirements and service delivery standards. Advise all actors where required and report and follow up on any non-conformance. - Stay informed of the basic terms of the client service contracts and be prepared to resolve technical issues involving contracted equipment and services within their geographic area. - Provide technical assistance to various projects as required and directed. - Lead on rig up and assist field crews in the field when required. - Ensure stock controls of inventory and spare parts at wellsite and in base will meet operational requirements and assist in managing the identification and movement of equipment - Provide support to Operations Management when service quality issues are raised - Attend company and industry training courses as directed. - Use every opportunity to improve own knowledge of drilling / formation evaluation procedures, Excellence Logging software programs, hardware and sensors used at the well site. - Follow all facility or site requirements in terms of equipment storage, permit to work and TRA mechanisms for technical installations, repairs, or de-installation. - Actively determine for all sites that are visited whether client requirements and client satisfaction is being correctly monitored and make event reports to provide traceability of completing that task. - Maintain a safe and efficient technical workshop or dedicated workspace in the Base.
