Job Responsibility01) Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation which is able to fulfill operational and customer demand and meet set targets.
02) Ensure the delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production schedules.
03) Train new Warehouse operatives within area of responsibility.
04) Ensure inventories in area of responsibility are accurate.
05) Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately.
06) Support organizing and participate in stock takes at regular intervals.
07) Where possible resolve any issues or problems which occur in the warehouse. Where appropriate elevate the issue to a more senior level.
08) Review ways to reduce waste.
09) Ensure that all lifting of products and materials is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures.
10) Ensure that vehicles, machinery and equipment is well maintained and fit for purpose.
11) Maintain high standards of security in the warehouse.
12) Ensure workers comply to health, safety and environmental regulations and work safely to protect themselves and others in the warehouse environment.
13) Ensure a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency.
14) Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate superior.
15) The scope of authority shall refer to the selected work process procedure / instruction.
