Job Description


Job Responsibility
To ensure compliance and adherence to the Business Plan with a view to implementing cost
savings, process improvement, capital budgeting, and other strategic initiatives within the
organization. To assist in driving the company's capital planning & budgeting activities, including fundraising activities and evaluation of capital investments.

Job Descriptions:
C.1) Main roles and responsibilities
Management and Monitoring of Key Licences
o Assist in managing and monitoring (including application and renewal) Air Selangor's key licences
to ensure that licences are in place, valid and up-to-date, and all obligations are duly complied
with.
Business/ Capital Planning and Fundraising
o Assist in Business Plan preparation, management, and control, including:
? Periodic review and update of the company's Business Plan to reflect operating
requirements.
? Submission of the Business Plan and any other information where required from time to
time by Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara (SPAN)
? Review and monitoring of obligations under the Business Plan which includes compliance
to key performance indicators (KPI) and the execution of capital expenditure (CAPEX)
programmes.
o Assist in driving cash conservation, capital planning & budgeting (including fundraising
activities and evaluation of capital investments), working capital management, and
forecasting.
o Assist in the preparation of budgeting, cost control, financial control, credit control, and support
decision making.
o Assist in building financial models using historical data and providing forecasts based on
industry operating metrics. Assist in conducting Scenario Analysis based on macro and micro
factors that will help in accessing risk and assist in decision making.
Performance Management and Monitoring
o Assist in providing ongoing challenge and support to functional line management to improve
performance, manage risks and opportunities as presented in the Business Plan.
o Assist in tracking and monitoring performance against financial and non-financial indicators to provide meaningful management information and support decision making.
o Assist in tracking, monitoring, reviewing, and analyzing KPIs, as well as helping to propose
and implement the necessary measures to facilitate KPI achievement and measures to
enhance/improve the company's performance.
o Assist in implementing process improvement initiatives via cross-functional teams.
Business Development
o Assist in the evaluation, planning and execution of new business opportunities, including
review and negotiation of documentation, capital planning and fundraising.
Other Duties
o Perform other assignments, projects, and/or duties as needed or required.

C.2) Other roles and responsibilities:
Compliance with ISO Clause 5.3 Organisational roles, responsibilities and authority

involvement in implementing the Management System.
2. Ensure the objective/KPI are established in line with the Company's contexts, strategic direction and purpose.

5. Aware and understand your roles and responsibility to provide support during the execution of Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) during crisis/emergency, ensuring the continuation of water supply to the consumer at highest quality and providing the best
service and customer experience.
6. Aware and understand the asset criticality in the operational activities and ensure all assets are maintained in good working conditions.
7. Aware and understand the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of information assets under your custodian.
8. Aware and understand the whistle-blower policy and carry out daily job activity with full integrity

Job Requirements:
oDegree in Accountancy / Finance or in relevant discipline. Preferably with professional certification (CFA / CPA /ACCA /CIMA etc.)
oAt least 5 years' working experience in the related field
oFinancial modelling, budgeting, business planning, corporate finance
oControl & financial reporting
oFinancial knowledge on financial products, capital, and operational expenditures
oManagerial and leadership skills, ability to work in crossfunctional teams
oPossess good people management skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external parties, and all position levels
oAble to handle Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
oSelf-motivated, meticulous, and able to work independently with minimum supervision
oSafety-conscious
