Job Description:
Participate in the generation and review process for all database changes and refinement.
o Liaise between Business, Functional, and Technology to ensure that data-related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning.
o Assist in the development of an inventory of the enterprise information maps, including authoritative systems and owners as well as data security matrices.
o Implement and execute data access policies, data quality standards, data protection standards, and adoption requirements across the enterprise.
o Work with various stakeholders to identify the business requirements and the expected outcome especially on improving efficiency, productivity, and monetization using various data science methodologies.
o Work with vendors/consultants on various analytics projects and apply the best practice for internal usage.
o Partner with different units in the Digital & Analytics Centre and other departments to support data collection, integration, and retention requirements.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor degree in any of the following disciplines but not limited to: Mathematics, Computer Science / Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence
At least 3 - 5 years working experience of relevant quantitative research, analytics and data science experience.
o 2 - 5 years of working experience in relevant data governance and management as well as relevant data analytics tasks.
o Experience with Hadoop/Hybrid/Cloud and other data storage tools.
o Experience with SQL, Python, R, Spark, or any Machine Learning open programming applications.
o Agile/Scrum knowledge and experience of working in a digital transformation environment.
o Proficient in Automation, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
o Experience in relevant data governance and management as well as relevant data analytics tasks.
o Experience in cloud platforms, Azure, GCP, AWS, Alibaba Cloud etc.
o Good knowledge of the Data and Digital development lifecycle.
o Knowledge of various technological decision making for the data management and digital transformation.
o Have involved in the development of stakeholder-ready deliverables and presenting them with confidence and influence.
o Knowledge of various technological decision making for the data management and digital transformation.
o Preferably to have attended Big Data Analytics short-term courses or have obtained certification in Scrum and Agility.
o Experience in data management tasks related to data security, data quality and change management
o Knowledge of business vs analytics - understanding data from various systems for deeper comprehension on data structure based on subjects.
o Creativity in problem solving
o Able to complete multiple tasks within the deadline.
o Maintaining and balancing various requests from stakeholders and assess the objectivity of the requests for prioritization.
