Job ResponsibilityThis position is responsible to assist the Senior Sales & Marketing Manager to carry out sales strategies towards achieving sales targets and objectives, as well as ensuring efficient sales activities. He/She is also responsible to develop new business opportunities with potential customers to further enhance the company's profitability.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential and existing accounts for the expansion of business.
2. Collaborate with the management in the planning, development, and alignment of company sales & marketing plans, forecasts, and targets.
3. Preparation of quotations, providing prompt commercial sales and customer service on customer inquiries.
4. To promote and market major products to prospective clients.
5. To follow up with the customer to secure the orders, and ensure contact is maintained with clients to create a good work relationship that supports sales as well as increases the customer base.
6. To assist in other sales-related functions and promotions of the company's product, as well as participate in road shows /exhibitions as and when required.
7. Address issues bordering on pricing, delivery of goods/services, and resolution of customer complaints.
8. Oversee the stocking and inventory of goods to ensure a timely supply of orders.
9. Monitoring customer aging and collecting payment within the approved terms.
10. To prepare sales proposals, sales reports, and other reports whenever required.
11. Any other duties as may be assigned by immediate superior/management.
Qualifications:
1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advance Diploma, Bachelor's degree /Professional Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant qualifications.
2. Preferably 3 to 5 years of sales and marketing experience in an industrial sales position.
3. Proficient in MS office.
4. Good command of English and Malay (spoken and written), the candidates who can speak Japanese and Mandarin are an added advantage.
5. Logical thinking and analytical skills, multi-tasker and passion for processes and systems.
Independent, self-motivated, pleasant personality and able to interact with all levels of people.
6. Possess own vehicle and be willing to travel interstate & oversea whenever required.
