Job ResponsibilityDuties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for all Contract, Post Contract and Procurement matters and activities.
2. Assisting the Senior Manager (Contracts & Commercial), Manager (Contracts, Tender &
Commercial), Deputy Manager (Contracts, Tender & Commercial), Senior Quantity Surveyor /
Senior Executive (Contracts, Tender & Commercial) and Quantity Surveyor / Executive (Contracts, Tender & Commercial) on all tender and commercial matters for projects from the Pre-Tender stage through to Final Accounts.
3. Report directly to the Senior Manager (Contracts & Commercial) and Manager (Contracts, Tender & Commercial) and required to work together with all Contracts officers on tenders, contracts and commercial matters in the Contracts & Procurement department's operation and projects.
4. Responsible to support the Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior Executive (Contracts, Tender & Commercial) and Quantity Surveyor / Executive (Contracts, Tender & Commercial) in undertaking the study and evaluation of the tendering process including that of pricing and compiling technical submissions as well as undertaking the finalisation and execution of the commercial proposal for tender exercises which shall be based on the Management's advice and decisions.
5. To assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior Executive (Contracts, Tender & Commercial) and Quantity Surveyor / Executive (Contracts, Tender & Commercial) in the preparation and
finalisation of Letters of Award/Acceptance and Contract Agreements which include Work Orders, Sub-Contract Documents, Supplier Agreements and Consultant Agreements.
6. Maintaining an approved sub-contractors and suppliers list and making recommendations for awards to the same according to all relevant policies, procedures and practices.
7. Monitor and keep track of the progress claims, valuations of variations and closure of final
accounts including that of the sub-contractors' and suppliers' payments, all with regards to the relevant projects of which he is in charge. To execute the compliance of payment timelines
including that of progress payments, variations and analysis of claims.
8. Accountable for the effectiveness and performance of the QSHEMS in the Contracts &
Procurement department. He shall engage, direct and support the Heads of Departments and
other persons in the organisation in order to contribute to the effectiveness of the QSHEMS.
9. Development and maintenance of working relationships with clients, contractors, sub-con tractors, suppliers and consultants.
10. To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.

1. Accountable for the quality, safety, health and environmental performance of the department.
Requirements:
1. Diploma in Quantity Surveying (Fresh Graduate) or 1-2 years experience
2. Should possess basic knowledge of the Contracts and Commercial administration process.
4. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Knowledge in applicable legal and other requirements and QSHE practice.
