However, this doesn't happen without some really awesome people, and state-of-the-art processes & operations. Currently, we are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team! This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur and start as soon as possible.
Overview
The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for owning, supporting and managing regional, strategic and cross-functional projects, as part of the APAC Live Operations team.
Projects within the scope will include quality improvement, tools deployment, reporting enhancement, migrations, standardization and optimization of operations, process improvement, amongst others.
An Assistant Project Manager will need to work closely with multiple stakeholders from different locations and senior leadership to ensure the completion of projects on time and will be the single point of contact for all needs related to the execution of the projects.
Responsibilities
? APM will be responsible for creating, tracking and delivering projects.
? Meeting the scope, budget and timeline of the projects, through the definition of milestones, tasks and resource management.
? Reporting and documenting projects and key processes for its successful implementation.
? Engage stakeholders to ensure deliverables as well as understanding of timelines, risks, escalation path and responsibilities towards the project.
? Manage communication with local and regional stakeholders to guarantee proper alignment.
? Responsible for project dependencies as well as critical paths while keeping accurate project plans with real-time milestones.
? Remove or escalate roadblocks and facilitate solutions and identify opportunities to streamline deployments.
? Share best practices and implement continuous improvement actions regularly.
Skills Needed
? Bachelor's or Master's degree in related fields (Economics, Engineering, Business, etc.)
? Planning and organizing to ensure a seamless execution of projects.
? Self-starter with experience executing initiatives from start to finish.
? Data-driven mindset to understand the business needs and find areas of improvement within the operation.
? Problem solver with the ability to understand complex concepts and work with multiple stakeholders.
? Strong stakeholder management skills to resolve escalations, negotiating compromise and influencing others.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills.
? Knowledge of process improvement frameworks (Lean Six Sigma etc.) or project management (Agile, PMP etc.) is a plus.
? Strong excel and data analysis skills, along with proven problem solving and analytical capabilities.
