The role for DCS & Instrumentation Expert, will be based in our Nilai Plant. We offer a permanent role for this position and you will be responsible for identifying, developing & implementing the DCS & Instrumentation Project.
We are looking for someone who has:
o Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Instrumentation)
o At least 5 years of working experiences in the related field is required for this position for Degree holders
o Good experience in Yokogawa DCS/SCADA/Field Instrumentations projects , Maintenance and troubleshooting.
o Work Experience in Petrochemical /Polyester in continuous process plants will be preferred.
o Should have knowledge of SAP system like PR/PO/JMS/GRN/PM02 etc.
o Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, including creating and delivering presentations
o Advanced skills in critical software applications, such as Microsoft Office and Solid works
o Expertise in data and problem analysis and creative problem solving
o Up-to-date knowledge and technical skills required to design and operate our core products and service
Here is a glimpse of what you will do:
o Expert in Yokogawa / Emerson DCS system to carry out Engineering & design ,modification , troubleshooting , maintenance , failure analysis independently without OEM support.
o Expert in field instrumentation like Nucleonic LT , PT , FT , LT , TI ,SOV ,MOV, Control Valve etc. and have excellent knowledge to select right instruments to replace obsolete , troubleshoot , Calibrate and maintenance. Should have hands-on experience in all instrumentation.
o Have excellent knowledge on Weighing system specially Schenk system
o Have excellent knowledge on PLC, SCADA/HMI system like Siemens , Rockwell , Omron etc.
o Should have experience to lead the team of 5-10 members and provide necessary training to improve skill & competency of team
o Focus in Major instrument/DCS project to ensure high quality instrument project timely completion in minimum cost
o Reduce the external support or dependency from vendors or OEM
o Cost reduction by servicing and reutilization of old instruments and electronic boards
o Streamline the Electronic cards repairing process to minimize repaired cards failure and components cost.
o Have good knowledge to handle small DCS & instruments projects.
