Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or above in English / Communication / Journalism / Public Relations or related fields
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken). Proficient in Mandarin would be an advantage
- Good writing, editing and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Package
Job Description:
- Attend University events to take photos and write the event article for the University website, newsletter, social media and the press
- Write draft speeches/ messages for President and Vice Presidents for University events
- Ensure articles written are accurate and relevant with appropriate contents and language used and to submit the articles within the stated deadline.
- Do translation and ensure accurate translations of articles/ speeches/ messages/ advertorials
- Liaise and communicate with relevant internal departments for events and visits
- Write press releases, do press invitations, send press releases to press and liaise with press
- Any other tasks as assigned by the University from time to time
