Job Description


Job Responsibility
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, MIA) 
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is highly required for this position 
  • Full accounting background, bookkeeping, and payroll
  • English and Bahasa Malaysia (Spoken and Written) is compulsory. 
  • Computer literate and knowledge in MS Word and MS Excel is a must. 
  • Have prior knowledge of the online accounting system i.e. UBS Accounting is an added advantage. 
  • Exposure in Financial and Management Accounting is an added value. 
  • Preferably those with past exposure in audit or accounting firms. 
  • Previous experience in Administrative Management and Operations is highly desired. 
  • Willing to work under pressure with minimum supervision. 
  • Mature, trustworthy, committed, have a positive work attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Requirements
  • Handling full sets of Accounts.
  • Responsible for the preparation of the complete set of financial reports.
  • Monitoring the company's bank and cash account, process reimbursement claims and payroll,
  • Prepare journal entries; perform periodic reconciliation of general ledger, debtor ledger and creditor ledger.
  • Responsible for the monthly closing of accounts, consolidating inter-companies accounts, variance reporting and compliance framework,
  • Analyze and report financial results and prepare variance analysis to aid the management in its business direction.
  • Oversee all aspects of daily accounting functions and ensures proper maintenance of accounting records.
  • Liaise with both internal and external parties including bankers, auditors, tax agents and company secretary on all statutory and tax requirements compliances.
  • Manage all human resource functions such as ensuring effective administration of salary, compensation & benefits, employments and welfare.
  • Ensure fulfillments of compliances with EPF, SOCSO and other legal and statutory requirements.
  • Leading and managing the Accounts & Finance team of the Company, covering the full spectrum of the finance and account operations. 
  • Provide strategic business advice to the Management Team and Director on all matters, affecting the financial position and profitability of the Company. 
  • Formulate and review the financial and accounting policies to achieve high standard of transparency, corporate governance and accountabilities. 
  • Ensure financial control and the internal control system of the Company is operating effectively. 
  • Oversee Human Resource and other operational functions.
