Job Description


Job Responsibility

Towards the company/merchandise


  • Ensuring company policies are followed.
  • Optimizing profits by controlling costs.
  • Take a lead role on customer service & product display
  • Providing leadership and direction to all employees.
  • Preparing and presenting employee reviews.
  • Assisting in maintaining stores to standard on all aspects of outlet, especially display, merchandising and cleanliness.
  • Play an integral part in contributing towards outlet sales achievement, sales growth and quality customer service.
  • Overseeing retail inventory and ordering.
  • Ensuring product quality and availability.
  • Organizing payment schedule.
  • Tasks include -
    • Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards;
    • Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices;
    • Promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services;
    • Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions;
    • Undertaking budgeting for the establishment;
    • Controlling selection, training and supervision of staff;
    • Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Towards Staffs


  • Retail and wholesale trade managers, plan, organize, coordinate and control the operations of establishments that sell goods on a retail or wholesale basis. They are responsible for the budgets, staffing and strategic and operational direction of shops, or of organizational units within shops that sell particular types of product.
  • Train and develop employees.
  • Completing tasks assigned by the manager accurately and efficiently.
  • Supporting Supervisor as needed. 
  • Working closely with the Supervisor to lead staff.

Towards Customer


  • Build and maintain good rapport with customers.
  • Ensuring a consistent standard of customer service.
  • Assisting customers whenever necessary.
  • Responsibility dealing on customer inquiries and complain.
  • Resolving customer issues to their overall satisfaction.

Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a certificate/vocational/diploma.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Knowledge in bakery /  patisserie is a bonus.
  • Positive attitude, passionate on teamwork, good at interpersonal skills.
  • Good in controlling people
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptable to changes and demonstrate capability in meeting new challenges.
  • Good problem solving skills, able to navigate unexpected situations or conditions.
  • Critical observer-thinker, bringing fresh perspective and offer intuitive solutions and ideas.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills in driving teamwork excellence, conflict resolution.
  • Business-minded where applicable with entrepreneurial skill to ensure business success.
  • Have strong knowledge of applicable system automation, business solution software.
  • Able to work on retail hours and public holidays.
