Job ResponsibilityDuties and Responsibilities
o Provide network administration services, including setting up new users, maintaining email distribution lists, maintaining the databases, password security, managing access policies and monitoring performance.
o Provide support for the school servers, storage, network equipment, desktop PCs, laptops, iPads, door access, CCTV, VPN etc within the organization.
o Carry out daily backup, archiving, housekeeping and other maintenance tasks on a regular and as required basis.
o Take on responsible IT projects for installation and deployment of hardware/software applications.
o Assist and advise the management for the improvement of the School Management System.
o Running regular checks on network and data security
o Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation
o Conducting regular system audits
o Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
o Providing direction for IT team members
o Staff and IT vendor management
o Monitor and manage bandwidth allocation and usage within the school.
o Employ safe working practices and to comply with the relevant Health and Safety regulations.
o Provide planned and ad hoc support for staff and students who have ICT queries or additional ICT requirements relating to their learning and teaching.
o Work with users to ensure that appropriate ICT support are made available as required for classes, teachers and students.
o Ensure that learning and teaching areas within the School are maintained in a proper manner with regard to student and staff needs.
o Provide ICT training on software applications for staff on a planned and ad hoc basis.
o Do routine maintenance such as updating new version on to user's computers.
o Maintain school website, intranet & web application to ensure the sites accessible anytime anywhere.

o LAN, WAN, wireless setup, maintenance & troubleshooting for desktop computers, servers, laptop and multi-function printer setup & troubleshooting
Job Requirements
o Bachelor/Degree in IT or related disciplines.
o At least 5 years of working experience in related field.
o IT experience in education industry is an added advantage.
o Having good leadership and communication skills.
