Job Responsibility1. Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.
2. Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly.
3. Liaise with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues.
4. Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components.
5. Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
6. Improve health and safety policies and procedures.
7. Work with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), which control machinery on factory assembly lines.
8. Ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.
9. Plan and monitor ongoing calibration, preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
10. Monitor and supervise HVAC preventive Maintenance contracts.
11. Responsible to attend to emergency breakdowns which may occur at any time, if any (even during nightshifts or weekend)
12. Improve process capabilities and production volume, while maintaining and improving product quality.
13. Improve reliability of equipment and molds and reduce machine down time to company target.
14. Identify, predict, record potential failures, develop preventive measures and effective implementation.
15. Diagnose breakdown problem, propose solutions and preventive measures.
16. Upkeep maintenance record, documentation as per ISO13485/ company requirement.
17. Work with equipment/machinery designer, QA Department and production to streamline process, while ensure efficiency and consistency throughout.
18. Develop test method, standards and protocols supporting implementation of new product and process.
19. Contribute as a team member on development projects carrying out assigned responsibilities in a timely, diligent, safe and professional manner. May act as a project leader.
20. Ensure quality in a product's design for usability, profitability, functionality, marketability and manufacturability.
21. Perform task as assigned by superior.
22. Continuous support for ISO 13485.
