Job ResponsibilityWe are looking for an Android developer responsible of contributing into development of brand new Electrolux Apps, custom UI widgets and complex layouts with advanced UX. Dealing with complex modular Android projects, interacting with Electrolux cloud infrastructure and working with a global team spread across different locations worldwide will be yours the day-to-day business.
You will be working in contact with many parties that are involved in the development of Electrolux connectable products such as Digital Products, IT, R&D, Marketing and Design. Problem solving, dealing with different people backgrounds, point of views and cultures will be essential.
Skills:
* Very good knowledge of Gradle to setup complex Android projects
* High expertise on writing testable software and automate repetitive tasks
* Ability to write automation tests using Android UI Automator
* Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins)
* Ability of working with scrum methodology, epics and tickets tracking
* Positive attitude toward PR, code review and following code standards
* Passionate and proactive during validation, verification and troubleshooting of apps
* Curiosity in learning and discovering topics other than mobile development (for instance Linux command line or Wireshark)
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Technical Skills required:
* Programming languages: Java, Kotlin, KMM is a strong plus
* Libraries: Dagger2, RxJava2, Retrofit
* Design pattern: MVVM, Clean architecture
* UiAutomator/Espresso testing framework
* Code versioning tool: Git/Bitbucket
* Task Management: Jira
* Documentation: Confluence
* Very good knowledge of MacOS and bash scripting
* Knowledge of Linux OS is a plus
Languages:
* English: Upper-intermediate.
