Job Responsibility- Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in teaching.
As a faculty member, he/she must achieve faculty workload requirements as stipulated in the Faculty Workload Policy, which covers:
o teaching and supervision;
o research and publication; and
o service - academic leadership and professional development.
The key expectations/details of the requirements are as follows:
i. Achievement of a minimum workload of 1800 hours per annum. In line with the reputation of the University for teaching Quality and success, the faculty member will:
o Develop initiative, creativity and judgement in applying appropriate approaches to teaching and learning support.
o Embrace new technological developments that support learning and teaching and incorporate them into best practices. (e.g. e-learning platforms, Moodle)
ii. A minimum of three (3) courses (equivalent to 9 credit hours) per year.
iii. Supervision of at least three (3) Master project papers per year and three (3) PhD dissertations per year.
iv. Publication of at least one (1) refereed journal article in at least Tier 2 journals or its equivalent as classified in the workload policy.
v. Involvement in at least one (1) Executive Education programme as the subject matter expert OR in one (1) granted research as a principal researcher.
