Prepare and clean up machines, equipment, work area, required to perform tasks

Provides protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards, assisting physicians, responsible for delegating areas of authority in the performance of routine or special procedures, may be responsible for specific areas of instruction in the school of technology and ancillary personnel
Will be required to teach imaging students or specialty
Will be required to teach imaging students or appropriate Hospital personnel established procedures and operation of equipment, in accordance with the guidelines and teaching objectives of the department
The Radiologic Technologist performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology
Regulates the equipment used to produce and process images
Assists in the daily operation of the Radiology department
Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff
