Job Responsibilityo Oversee the smooth and efficient running of the Accounts & Finance Department.
o Design, plan, implement and improve the accounting & financial policies and procedures.
o Maintain integrity of accounting system (software), ensuring it remains effective and operational at all times.
o Liaise with Government Departments, Inland Revenue Board, Customs and other statutory bodies for compliance and approvals.
o Liaise with auditors, company secretary and tax agents
o To liaise with bankers on the Company's financing requirements and daily treasury activity.
o Prepare monthly management accounts
o Prepare annual financial accounts
o Liaise with banks and regulatory bodies
o Review work performed by junior accounting staff
o Ensure that all accounting ledgers are maintained accurately and that all accounting reconciliations are completed each month
o Assist in cash flow management (cash flow projections and monitoring)
o Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
o Prepare tax estimates and revisions.
