Job ResponsibilityJob Description
Responsibilities
o Prepare full sets of accounts, handling & monitoring on account payable and account receivable and collections.
o Responsible for daily accounting duties and ensuring accounting records and systems comply with the Company's policies, compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.
o Ensure timely collection from borrower/debtors, and ensure collection are banked in on timely basis and issue official receipts.
o Preparation and issuing of AR reminders and related credit control tasks and reporting.
o Handling statutory audit, attend to auditor's query and ensure compliance with regulatory requirement;
o Liaison with auditor, tax agent, company secretary (if required) and etc.
o Prompt submission of weekly and monthly periodical & ad hoc reports.
o Preparation of the yearly accounting and presentation to external auditors
o Ensure timely submission of full set of accounts, monthly financial reports and assist in credit control, billing and collection as well as assist in any other accounting related works.
o Monthly bank reconciliation and funding projection.
o Monthly debtors and creditors reconciliations, monthly company tax and deferred tax computations.
o Any other accounting duties assigned by the management from time to time.
Requirements
o Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent;
o Minimum 3 year(s) working experience in the related field will be an added advantage for the position.
o Independent and able to work under pressure and multitasking environment.
o Responsible, meticulous and possess good working attitude
o Able to speak and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
o Working experience in the related field is required for this position.
o Familiar with MYOB Accounting Software & Microsoft Excel Proficiency.
o Able to produce accurate works within deadlines.
