Job Responsibility1. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing general ledger entries, intercompany transactions, banking transaction, financial and management reporting, accounts reconciliations, statutory audit and tax computation, cash flow forecast and budgeting and support month-end and year-end accounting close process.
2. Perform financial and management reporting related activities and analyze monthly, quarterly results and account balances; identify and interpret key variances, trends, and insights; present key findings to management.
3. Manage the statutory accounting and reporting including preparation of consolidation of group financial statements.
4. Manage inventory report monthly including stock take process and procedure, analyze balances, identify and interpret variances, and present findings to management.
5. Manage SST reporting, timely submission and payment to relevant authorities.
6. Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agent, solicitors, bankers, company secretary, other professional and regulatory bodies.
7. Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations
8. Work independently, liaise and communicate effectively on relevant issues.
9. Regularly track and resolve outstanding issues identified and escalate to relevant parties as necessary
10. Proactively identify, propose and implement continuous process improvement opportunities in existing processes within the team.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, and/or professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA etc.) with at least 5 years' experience
2. External audit experience with good technical accounting knowledge, analytical skills and attention to details
3. Experience in consolidation of group financial statements
4. Experience in export, import and distribution are desired
5. Skilled in the use of MS Office tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
