Job Description


Job Responsibility
  • Handle day-to-day accounting functions such as data entry of transactions into the accounting system, invoicing, payments, receipts and etc.
  • Managing the company's Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables.
  • Prepare daily overseas suppliers' payments and negotiate with China Yen dealers to get special exchange rates for the payments.
  • Prepare monthly local suppliers' payments.
  • Follow up closely on the delivery and purchase orders and issue sales invoices on a timely basis.
  • Issue weekly/monthly statements of accounts to clients and follow up closely on the outstanding balances.
  • Check and ensure all staff claims are in line with company policy.
  • Record the budgeted project costing accurately in the accounting system.
  • Maintain records of all financial documents with appropriate supporting material and update records as necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation of management/financial reports, budgets, financial analysis, reconciliations, and any other reports as required from time to time.
  • Assist in statutory audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accurate transactions are properly recorded and entered into the accounting system.
  • Liaise with financial institutions and other relevant professional authorities to ensure matters arising are resolved on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Performs other ad hoc accounting assignments as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Possess at least a Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Business or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Preferably candidates that specialize in General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
  • Self-starter, team player, multi-tasking and diligent.
  • Responsible, reliable, resourceful and trustworthy.
  • Able to work under challenges and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Personally promote a climate of mutual respect.
