Job ResponsibilityJOB VACANCY FOR THE POST OF ACCOUNT ASSISTANT

Required Skills/Abilities:
? High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
? At least two years of related experience required.
? 2 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable
? Excellent interpersonal skills, confident and personable
? Previous experience in the golf industry
ROLES
? Maintains journals, checks registers, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventories, general journal, depreciation accounts, and financial statements.
? Produces computer reports including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and monthly financial statements.
? Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts.
? Collects and deposit all cash and receipts from all cash registers.
? Manages the petty cash fund
? Maintains an orderly accounting and filing system.
? Assists in preparation of other accounting reports
? Collaborates with the Account Executive to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic (at least bimonthly) basis.
? Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger.
? Assists Accounting Executive in reconciling revenue accounts each month.
? Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed.
? Prepare list of delisted and defaulter
? Generate reminder letter
? Assist in document preparation of financial audit at the end of the year
? Performs other related duties as assigned
